  • Even though I've been downsizing and simplifying my way of living over the past few years, some cooking gadgets earn their space. We grilled a schweet Fourth of July picnic on our Green Egg last night: ultra lean Bison strip steak from Whole Foods, fresh cut oven sweet potatoes, and crispy Brussels Sprouts with a dash of raspberry balsamic vinegar from our Philips Air Fryer. Yum! After three weeks of a medical cleansing diet (and one more week to go!), this menu is approved, but it felt a little heavy. So, back to my JJ Virgin Chai Protein shakes (in my Nutribullet!) and espresso with almond milk from my Nespresso machine this morn. Ah...I don't always give endorsements, but when I do I really mean it!   • Scrumptious, finger-licking Ethiopian lunch with Josh. Checking out his new digs and helping him get settled in Denver. The Rockies feel like home. I opted for gluten free teff injera to grab my spicy chicken, lentils and carrot salad. We topped off lunch with beautiful coffee. My new favorite food! Now if I can just figure out how to make the injera at home 🤔
